ADVISING CENTERS

Calhoun Community College is proud to provide Advising Centers to assist students with program planning, transfer information, course scheduling, and placement testing. Advising Centers are located on the Decatur and Huntsville/Research Park campuses. The Centers are staffed by trained counselors and academic advisors to assist the student with his/her college planning.

New students, readmission students, and students who change their program of study are required to meet with Advising Center personnel. Careful planning should help advert problems the student may encounter in the future.

Appointments for advising are not needed. Students may simply stop by during the hours of operation and sign in to meet with an advisor. Students are seen on a walk-in basis.
