READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY! - Telecourses, by their very nature, demand that a student be mature, self-motivated and capable of independent work. If you habitually wait to the last minute on all assignments, or if you signed up for this class because you heard that telecourses were easier; you are in the wrong class! Biology on CD requires that students study both the CD exercises very carefully, download and print the "Notes" from the Thinkwell Website - www.thinkwell.com, and prepare for the tests meticulously.
Testing for this course will involve the use of the Thinkwell Online testing system using the computers of the Decatur Campus Science Learning Center. The syllabus contains instructions on how to use the system, and Science Learning Center staff are there to help you log on to the system for testing purposes - DO NOT HESITATE TO ASK FOR THEIR ASSISTANCE. Remember you should bring the following to the Science Learning Center for each test:
- Photo ID - Calhoun Id or Driver's License will do
- Testing instructions from the syllabus
The testing dates for the exams are on the syllabus, as are the hours of operation for the Science Learning Center on the Decatur Campus. You must come to Decatur for these tests, since there are no testing facilities on the Huntsville Campus.
