Also commonly called Greek Valerian, this wildflower is not common in the state, but it does occur in Bankhead National Forest, Newsome Sinks, and several other areas in North Alabama. Belongs to the same family as Sweet William (#32). The leaves are divided like a mimosa leaf and look somewhat ladder-like.
