This is ACTUALLY a domesticated form of Purple Wood Sorrel and not the real thing - but I'm working on getting a picture of this species in the wild. It is rather common in North Alabama in places and I have just been lazy to have not done this before. Also has the delicious sour tang of Yellow Wood Sorrel and can be used in the same way.
