| My Mother passed away in the loving arms of her family at 2:07 AM, Saturday, November 13, 1999. She would have been 82 in January, but succumbed to a long struggle with Alzheimer's and Ovarian Cancer. My Dad passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2003, at 7:37 PM in Fayetteville, TN, surrounded by family. He was a remarkable man who simply lost interest in going on without my mother and his golfing buddies, and he died with grace and dignity - the same traits he exhibited in a life well-lived for 89 years. Whatever I am today I owe to these fine people. |
