Fahrenheit to Celsius

 

oC = (oF-32) x 5/9

 

Example:  Convert 212oF to its equivalent Celsius temperature?

 

                                             oC = (212 – 32) x 5/9

                  

                                                 =   180 x 5/9

 

                                                 =   900/9

 

                                                 =   100 oC

 

 

Celsius to Fahrenheit

 

oF = (oC x 9/5) + 32

 

Example:  Convert 37 oC to its equivalent Fahrenheit temperature?

 

                                            oF = (37 x 9/5) + 32

                                       

                                                = (333/5) + 32

 

                                                = 66.6 + 32

 

                                                = 98.6  oF
