- Confirm Pulseless Arrest and initiate CPR
- CPR should be preformed for 2 minutes prior to delivering a shock if
the arrest was UNWITNESSED and CPR has NOT been initiated
- Apply pads (or paddles with conductive media)
- Charge to 200J* (or 2 J/kg the 4J/kg for pediatrics)
- Confirm ECG
- Clear patient
- Deliver Shock
- Resume CPR for 2 minutes
- Revaluate ECG

- No pulse: go to Asystole/PEA algorithm
- Pulse present: begin
postresuscitation care
- Shockable: repeat defibrillation
