Online Pre-Test and Post-Test Portal

As required by College policy, you must take a pre-test and post-test to see how much you've learned in the course.  All ECO 231 students, college-wide, are given these tests.

PRE-TEST

Title III Pre-Test
A 15 question, multiple-choice, quiz on macroeconomics topics.   No studying for this one.  Your score will not count toward your course grade, but your instructor may choose to give you bonus points for taking it.  Refer to your course syllabus.
   

POST-TEST
(Counts as 5% of course grade)

Title III/General Education Outcomes Assessment (GEOA) Post-Test
A 15 question, multiple-choice, mini-final exam, a reprise of the pre-test.  It's comprehensive.

 This test is scored and will count for 5% of your course grade.

Before You Take the Tests

 

1.  You may take each test only once.  If you do repeat a test, only the first score will count.

2.  DO NOT BEGIN your test until you have your correct Calhoun Student ID number and your ECO 231 section number.
    a.  The test form will ask you to enter your
Calhoun STUDENT ID number.
         --DO NOT USE your WebCT user name.
         --DO NOT USE your Social Security Number.
        Your Calhoun Student ID number is a 7-digit number (no letters) and must be entered exactly as it appears on your Calhoun Student ID card.   

HOW TO FIND YOUR Calhoun Student ID number

    b.  The test form will also ask you for the section number for your section of ECO 231.  This is NOT the same as the reference number.  You will have a drop-down menu to choose from.

BE SURE TO GET THESE RIGHT!  YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE ANY
CREDIT FOR YOUR TESTS IF THEY ARE INCORRECT!

--Monday, August 25 through Monday, September 1 (All sections)

 

   

POST-TEST
(Counts as 5% of course grade)

Available:

--Thursday, December 11 through Tuesday, December 16 (All sections)
